Abstract
Dermatofibroma is a common benign fibrohistiocytic tumor that can occur anywhere on the body surface. It has a
predilection for the lower legs of women. A 52-year-old male presented with red-brown to variegated yellowish
nodule on the palm, the surface of the nodule was keratotic and it measured 1.5 cm in diameter. A biopsy specimen
revealed a poorly defined, nonencapsulated, nodular tumor composed of collagen bundles, fibroblasts and histiocytes,
which were findings consistent with dermatofibroma. Herein we report on a case of dermatofibroma on the palm.
